There is a bizarre parallel universe in Los Angeles.

The “Haves” and the “Have-Nots” live side by side. I won’t delve into the intricacies of Skid Row and the numerous challenges faced by the community of individuals residing there. To most people, they are not even considered human beings. I became close to a few of the people i photographed and their stories are just like mine or yours. One day bad luck can strike and you could potentially find yourself in the same situation.

A smile can make a difference.
